Already know how to drive a little bitLast week, my mum brought me to one Kelana Jaya car park to learn driving. That was probably the second time she taught me driving. I felt a little scared the first time but thanks to God, I felt much confident the second time. I really can't remember what she taught me the first time but I can certailnly remember what she taught me the second time because it was just last week. Well, she taught me how to engage the gear. Since her car is automatic, she said I will have to shift the gear from "park" to "drive". Then, I must let go the handbreak. Of course by that time I would have worn my safety belt already. After that, I drove. As a beginner, my mum asked me not to press the oil. She asked me to just allow the car to move on its own. Basically, she wanted to teach me how to handle the stirring wheel first. She asked me to drive straight ahead and when I reached the embank ment, I must turn right. That means, I must turn the stirring wheel till the maximum and when I had made a complete turning, then I will slowly let go the stirring wheel until the car is straight again. I did these repeatedly for quite a number of times. My mum said that that night's learning was not enough for me. She said I must go back to the same place to learn again the next night. So, I did. And I did exactly the same thing. Like everyone says, practice makes perfect. When we are new at something, we must take things one step at a time.Anyway, I praise God that I at least know how to drive a little bit!
