Today is the 3rd day of Chinese New Year. I am going to get a good rest because I am quite tired due to activities during the past 3 days. However, I am going out with Jas and company tonight. Destination is Vietnam Kitchen at 1 Utama. I like Vietnamese food. I've been to Vietnam twice already. Once in 2003 to Hanoi with my family and the second time to Ho Chi Minh City with my friends and lecturer. Anyway, who else will be going? Deb, Jamie, Stephanie, Edward, Elias and Adelyn. LOL I am really looking forward to the dinner etc.

As I'm blogging now, my family are out enjoying the ever famous Asia Cafe. Thanks to Jas for bringing me there. After she brought me, then I brought my parents. And, they love that place. Now that Elvin is back from Malacca, he can experience it! I am feeling tired but I did not follow because I wanted to sleep. But I couldn't sleep because of hunger and hmm.. just cannot sleep. LOL

Trial Exams are coming. Thank God I feel I can manage eventhough I know I still have quite a bit to study. Confidence came from above. Yes, thank you Ms. Chaya for advicing us to target according to our capacity. whether we think we can obtain a pass, honourable pass, very honourable pass or very honourable pass with congrats from the juries. I think I fully got what she meant now.

Praise The Lord. Psalm 23 in my head now. Will You Worship by Vineyard Music & Angels by Jessica Simpson are playing in my mind now!

God loves and bless u always...

Everything is fine.. It is Chinese New Year now and there were so many things I did with my family. Reunion dinner was on the 17th and there were nice dishes on the table. After enjoying our meal, the table was cleared and biscuits, cookies, sweets, oranges etc. were laid on it.

Chinese New Year this year is good. We decorated the house. I really love the Cherry Blossom flowers and the way mum decorated the hall with them. A new sofa and dining set is also coming today. They are from Courts Mammoth.

Valentines Day just passed. I will say i really enjoyed my outing with Jaslyn, Bryan and Elias. I just got to know Bryan on that day. He is really nice and sweet. Could really talk to him. We talked on a lot of serious stuff and joked! I knew Elias sometime ago. He is a nice and cool. He is someone i feel that has no air when he talks.

In short, we took photos, joked, talked about serious stuff, enjoyed a delectable meal at Kim Gary and many more. The Joy of inclusion was there. And nope, were were not dating. Valentines can also be friendship day!! By the way, we were at the beautiful Curve.

The Curve's CNY decorations were great. I love the pink they use instead of the common red. We snapped some photos and also met some of Bryan's friends and snapped some more photos!

Outing with family at One Utama
I went with my family to 1 Utama today to mainly watch the Lion Dance. It was awesome. Let's say that the chinese culture is very unique! we went on to eat at McD's. Later, we did some window shopping and managed to catch a lovely performance. I think they were Mongolian girls. I like the way the danced! A combination of gracefulness and aggressiveness ( i dun know if aggressive is the correct word LOL ). They have character. Unique!

It is around 3.45am now and i think i must sleep already! It is nice to blog since i can't sleep. lol. But i think i must sleep now. Okay. That's all..

God loves and bless u all alwiz.

Merdeka Day Countdown with my friends - Truly a blessing from God!

Yesterday was Merdeka Day's Eve. I went for the countdown celebration with my church friends. I suggested to them to go to Sunway Pyramid. My friends agreed with my suggestion. Thanks to Brother Alex who helped me tell them my suggestion. Both me and him thought that countdown places in K.L. like KLCC and Bintang Walk would be way crowded. These places are always crowded every year whether it is the countdown celebration for Merdeka Day or New Year's Day. Furthermore, these places are not really safe. My friends lost their belongings when they were in KLCC early this year. So, I thought that K.L. will not be in my list of options for places to celebrate countdown.

Alex came to fetch me at around 7.25p.m.. He aslo had to fetch other people. Among them were Linus and his girlfriend, Seok Lee and Chris. After fetching me, He went to Taman Mayang to fetch Linus and his girlfriend. On the way there, Alex asked me to help him call Ben because he was driving. We wanted to know whether he was also joining us for the countdown. However, when I managed to get him, he said that he just woke up from his sleep and that he did not think that he was going to join us. I think that he was probably very tired due to his work load in church. Anyway, it was alright with us.

When Linus and his girlfriend got into the car, Alex and I was introduced to his girlfriend. I don't know how to spell her name. But, my version will be Ee Wei. I really pray and hope that Linus or anyone of us can bring her to church one day.

The nest destination was Seok Lee's place. She lives in Old Town. Seok Lee is a really friendly girl. She is my dearest sister in-Christ. Her place is near her work place which is Assunta Hospital where she is working as a nurse. With her in the car, it was almost full already. But, we thought that maybe Chris could squeeze in.

When we reached Chris's house in OUG, thank God that William was also present at that very moment to give Chris a lift. The fact that Chris could feel much comfortable in William's car rather than squeezing into Alex's car was a joy to us. I was also overjoyed to see Chris's big beautiful corner house. He has dogs just like I do. And they were very very cute! I only managed to have a good look at his Spitz. He or she is a petite cute little fellow!

Chris, Ee Wei, Alex, Linus, Seok Lee, William, William's friend and I were talking outside Chris's house when Chris's dad came back home. He seemed to know Seok Lee. If I am not mistaken, they were talking about something to do with Chris's father going to the hospital to treat the kidney stones in his kidney. Chris, please forgive me if I am wrong.

While they were talking, Alex asked me if it was okay if we went to Steven's Corner for dinner first before going to Sunway Pyramid for the countdown. If I remembered correctly, it was already almost 9p.m. at that time. Therefore, I told Alex that we might not be able to find a parking space if we had dinner first at Steven's corner. I thought that maybe we could have dinner in Sunway Pyramid. However, Chris, William and his friend still wanted to have dinner first at Steven's Corner. Then, I told Alex that it was fine with me. I know that we must learn to follow other people's wishes and desires sometimes in life.

I heard that Steven's corner is very famous for its Cheese Naan. When we were there, a few of them ordered the shop's specialties. William ordered Garlic Cheese Naan, Chris and Ee Wei had Roti Cheese while Seok Lee had the Naan Special. After William finished his Naan, he ordered another Roti Cheese. He allowed everyone to share that Roti. When I tried one piece, I thought that it tasted really good. I also tried one piece of William's Garlic Cheese Naan and Seok Lee's Naan Special. They were also very good. However, I did not order any of those. There were two reasons for that. First of all, I had to eat rice and the other reason was because I did not know that those food were very delicious. So, I ordered Tandoori Chicken with half a plate of white rice.

On the dinner table, we were introduced to William's friend, Benjamin. However, he could not join us for the countdown celebration as he had to fly to Thailand today.

After eating, Alex, Seok Lee, Linus, Ee Wei and I headed to Sunway Pyramid in one car. William and Chris went in William's car. Upon arriving at the Sunway area, Alex had to park at one of the Sunway Lagoon Resort Hotel's car park. We were quite sure that the parking spaces in Sunway Pyramid's basement car park was filling up very fast. So, after parking the car, we walked approximately one kilometre before we reached Starbucks in Sunway Pyramid.

We were waiting for Alex's sister, Alicia and her friend, William and Chris and Jeremy to come. Jeremy was inside the shopping complex but he had to take some time to come out. Alicia and her friend who was driving were still on their way but they were already very near. For William and Chris, they were also on their way.

Jeremy turned up after awhile. After standing for quite some time, we went into Starbucks to get a seat. After about 15 minutes, Alicia, her friend and his sister reached. Alex introduced me to Alicia's friend, Paul and his sister, Su Yi. I am not really sure whether the spelling of her name is correct. We waited for another 10 to 15 minutes and Wiliam and Chris turned up. They came with about four bottles of chemical spray. They came into Starbucks and Chris sprayed Jeremy immediately! Jeremy got a shock and Chris had a kind and gentle warning from the Starbucks's staff.

Looked like everyone was already there. But Linus and Ee Wei were in the toilet for quite a long time. However, we decided to make a move to the car park of the Sunway Lagoon Resort Hotel first so that we could get a much better view of the fireworks. Alex said that we would keep in touch with Linus and Ee Wei through the handphone. Fortunately, we bumped into them when we were walking to the car park of the hotel.

This year's fireworks were not at the usual place at Sunway Pyramid. It was in Sunway Lagoon this year. That was why we had to go over to Sunway Lagoon Resort Hotel's car park to watch the fireworks. When the clock strucked twelve o'clock, there was around five to seven minutes delay in the fireworks. However, when it came on, it was tremendously spectacular! Everyone was overwhelmed by it! I was clapping my hands. Those who had cameras like Chris and William took photos and recorded some videos of the fireworks. After about ten minutes, the fireworks came to an end.

The night was still young for us. The guys ran all over the place while spraying each other with the chemical sprays. Alicia and Seok Lee also participated but they did not run around. I did not take part because I did not want to dirty myself. We also took some individual and group photos of each other. Not to mention some videos as well.

Later, we had a drink in Ming Tien restaurant which was very near Sunway Pyramid. The guys told all of us many jokes. We were laughing and laughing. At that time, the time was already one something in the morning. When we realized that it was already getting late, we decided to leave for home. So, we all walked to our cars.

Alex fetched Seok Lee, Linus, Ee Wei and I back home. He dropped Seok Lee first at her place followed by Linus and Ee Wei in Taman Mayang Jaya. Then, it was my turn. The time was already about 2.25a.m. by the time I reached home. Alex wanted to go to a toilet. I offered him my house toilet but it was hard for him to get in because my dogs were barking and they might rush out when he was coming in. So, I asked him if he could go to the Projet petrol station. As a gentleman, he said no problem. Thank you, Alex and sorry for not being able to lend u my toilet.

I slept at about 3.30a.m.. Overall, I enjoyed myself to the fullest. I am hundred percent sure that the rest of my friends also enjoyed themselves very much. Thanks be to God for his abundant blessings and favour in our lifes. It was indeed Him who gave us the time and oppurtunity to fellowship like that. Amen!!

I am back!

I know that I had not been blogging for quite a long time. The reasons are because I felt that I did not have much things to blog about and that I was kinda busy with my industrial training. But now I am back! I had just finished my industrial training last week. So, I am kind of more free now until October when I will start my 5th term in college. I'll try my best to blog often from now on. Maybe I'll just write something short and simple or one to two paragraphs.

Industrial Training in Triways Travel Network, Taman Tun

Like what I mentioned above, I had just completed my industrial training last week. My last day was on Saturday(26.08.06). The company only works half a day on Saturdays. That is from 9a.m. to 1p.m.. For the weekdays, I worked from 9a.m. to 5.30p.m..

I started on the 3rd of July. My training was for two months(eight weeks). During this training, I was put into the Reservations and Ticketing and Human Resource Department. I was in the Reservations and Ticketing Department first for the first four weeks before I was transfered to the Human Resource Department for the next four weeks.

I had two wonderful managers in both the departments. Both of them are married ladies. The one in the Reservations and Ticketing Department is a Chinese. Her name is Miss Teresa Chin. For the Human Resource Department, my manager is a Malay lady. All of us call her Kak Elle. I always wanted to call her Puan Elle but I always forgot. Her full name is Puan Alka Zarina. What a unique name. When I was first asked to meet her on my first day of training there, I thought that she is a Chinese because her name 'Elle'. But when I met her, I got to know that she is actually a Malay.

In this training, I got to know the other trainees in the company too. There were so many of them there. Linda, Shira & Izan are from UiTM in Malacca whereelse Zaimi is from UiTM in Dungun, Terengganu. Faruq is from MMU in Malacca. He is studying in the same University as my brother. However, they are from different faculties. Rusydi is from Politek in Sabak Bernam, Selangor.

Okay. That's all for today's blogging. I have to go and eat now. I am very hungry. Take care, everyone. God bless all of you very much. Bye.

What happened today

I woke up at around 12 noon today. After having my lunch, I took a few vitamins. They are Shaklee Vitamins. Dad use to sell them to his friends and to other customers a couple of years ago. They call that direct selling. Other than vitamins, Shaklee manufactures energy drinks, energy bars, water filter, makeup for women etc.

The vitamins which I consumed were 1 B-Complex and 2 Chewable Vitamin C. I took B- Complex to avoid feeling tired for the rest of the day plus to have appetite and the Vita C is to stop my sneezing. After that, I had an urge to visit the toilet. I did both the small and big businesses. Next, I washed my bowls ( the ones which I used for my lunch). I did not want to leave it for my helper to wash. I know I must help her and at least a little bit here and there. Furthermore, the bowls were used by me. So, I must wash them by myself.

The next thing I did was washing my spectacles' box. I had not been using it for a long time. Therefore, it was left lying inside the shelf for a long time. So, the surrounding was full of dust covering it.

Later, I switched on the television to watch Sana'y Wala Nang Wakas as usual. It is from 2.30p.m. to 3.30p.m. from Mon - Fri on TV 2. It is Filipino show. Before that, I gave Aunty Janice a ring at about 2.10p.m.. We bought a Diamond water filter from her recently. It was fixed in my kitchen on Tuesday, 28th March. However, my parents did not pay her immediately. They wanted to pay her today. So, she said she was coming this evening to receive the payment. But we were going to The Curve for window shopping around the same time. So, I called her to ask if she could come earlier in the afternoon. She agreed. She mentioned she would come at around 3.00p.m. to my house.

I went to put my two dogs Lassie and Spotty inside the back lane at 2.50p.m. as Aunty Janice is afraid of dogs. Then. she arrived at about 3.05p.m.. My parents paid her and she stayed on for a little while to talk to my mum about the Diamond water and some issues pertaining to health. Before she left she gave us some Diamond water filter brochures to show our friends.

After she left, it was already going to rain. I told my mum that we had to start going to The Curve already before it started to rain. Then, we all went and got ready. By the time we were ready, it was already drizzling a little bit. However, we managed to leave the house before the rain started to get heavy.

Mum drove. She roughly knows how to get there. But when she reaches Mutiara Damansara, she won't know how to drive to The Curve. So, she depended on me to direct her. The bad thing is that I am also not sure. But God was good. On the way, I had a thought that instead of going down the tunnel which leads to Kota Damansara, we must keep left and turn right at the turning. I was praying to see The Curve. And as my mum drove, we saw The Curve. Praise the Lord!

We headed to the car park where we parked our Hyundai Getz. We took the lift up to the ground floor. As we walked, we noticed that the whole shopping complex plays very soft and slow music. There were also a number of outlets not open yet. There were also not many people in the shopping complex. It was probably due to the fact that today is a working day.

Mum suggested that we ate first. We wanted to look for the food court. So, we looked at the directory board. We took one flyer that was placed there. As we looked through the flyer, we came across the Food Junction. Following the directions on the map, we went up the escalator to the Food Junction. However, most stalls were closed and mum said there was a funny smell in the Food Junction. So, we thought that the Only Mee restaurant was our next option. But as we were approaching the restaurant, mum said that she did not really feel like eating noodles. She wanted some pastries and cakes instead. So, we went to La Manila cake house. There, I ordered Chicken Lasagna with extra two pieces of bread. Elvin, my brother had Braised Chiken Rice while mum had Hot Brownie with Ice Cream. Since La Manila is quite expensive, we decided to order only one drink which was the Soursop de Guava Juice. The food and frink was delicious but not the price. The overall bill was about RM 28.

After that, we went to the Borders bookshop to see some books and magazines. It is quite a big bookshop with more than one floor.

Eventhough we did not purchase anything, we were satisfied with the window shopping. Thank God that we were not tired. We went home and we watched the 6p.m. cantonese show (Triumph In The Skies) which is shown from Monday to Friday on TV 3. We also watched the 7p.m. cantonese show on TV 2. It is Love With No Regrets. It is also shown every Monday to Friday.

Already know how to drive a little bit

Last week, my mum brought me to one Kelana Jaya car park to learn driving. That was probably the second time she taught me driving. I felt a little scared the first time but thanks to God, I felt much confident the second time.

I really can't remember what she taught me the first time but I can certailnly remember what she taught me the second time because it was just last week. Well, she taught me how to engage the gear. Since her car is automatic, she said I will have to shift the gear from "park" to "drive". Then, I must let go the handbreak. Of course by that time I would have worn my safety belt already. After that, I drove. As a beginner, my mum asked me not to press the oil. She asked me to just allow the car to move on its own. Basically, she wanted to teach me how to handle the stirring wheel first. She asked me to drive straight ahead and when I reached the embank ment, I must turn right. That means, I must turn the stirring wheel till the maximum and when I had made a complete turning, then I will slowly let go the stirring wheel until the car is straight again. I did these repeatedly for quite a number of times.

My mum said that that night's learning was not enough for me. She said I must go back to the same place to learn again the next night. So, I did. And I did exactly the same thing. Like everyone says, practice makes perfect. When we are new at something, we must take things one step at a time.

Anyway, I praise God that I at least know how to drive a little bit!

Today, the upcoming Sarawak trip & about traveling

Well, I’ll blog about what happened so far in my day today. I woke up at about 1 something in the afternoon. As usual I will brush my teeth and wipe my face. But before doing these daily routines, I will drink about twenty-seven sips of water from the bottle. My mum and some other people said that it is a very good time to drink water, just after we wake up from our sleep.

After being done with everything, I had my lunch. I ate while watching the television in my grandmother’s room. My helper watched the television too. She watches two shows which are aired on TV 2 every afternoon, Monday to Friday from 1.30p.m. till 3.30p.m.. They are the Mexican and Philippines movie. The Mexican movie (La Heredera) is from 1.30p.m. to about 2.20p.m. where else the Philippines movie (Sana’y Wala Nang Wakas) starts at 2.30p.m. and ends at 3.30p.m.. She likes to watch those two movies. As for me, I do not really fancy the Mexican movie because it has quite a negative story line. Almost every character in the show will have some problems in their live. Once one problem is solved, another one will arise. However, the Philippines movie is a more positive show. The characters in the show do have problems but they are not as bad as the Mexican movie’s character problems. Therefore, it makes me feel more comfortable watching the Philippines movie.

By the way, I am looking forward to the 4 days 3 nights Sarawak trip where I’ll be going with my family. It will be from the 4th of March (Sat) to the 7th of March (Tue). So, I would not be able to make it to the Vibrant Youth Service this Saturday.

We will be going to the capital city Kuching and we will be flying Air Asia from KLIA to the Kuching International Airport. My mum had come up with a list of attractions we will be visiting around Kuching. Places like The Main Bazaar, The Wind Cave, The Fairy Cave, The Cultural Village, Damai Beach Resort (depends), Serikin Market and so on are part of the list.

Most people love to travel. My family and I are one of them. I always feel that I must love traveling even more than usual because I am currently studying Tourism Management. In the future, it might be part of my job to travel a lot. If my future job requires me to travel a lot, I pray and hope that I will not get too tired of traveling so fast because traveling then will be a necessity. I must travel whether I am tired or not.

Okay. I think that is all. God loves and bless u all.
